One hand-written sheet of formulas (8.5" X 11", both sides) is permitted during the first midterm examination. The first two chapters will be covered in this exam. No questions on Laurent theorem fundamentals.
Two hand-written sheets of formulas (8.5" X 11", both sides) are permitted during the second midterm examination. The first four chapters will be covered in this exam.
Three hand-written sheets of formulas (8.5" X 11", both sides) are permitted during the final examination. Computers and calculator programs may not be used. The first seven chapters will be covered in this exam with an emphasis on later material.
