The original test design was to use only one antenna and have a robotic arm move the antenna to various locations around the model. At each new position, the antenna would emit a signal. A network analyzer measured the reflections of this signal. The time shifting in these signals creates focal points that can be measured accurately by Matlab.

Unfortunately due to limitations in obtaining a robotic arm to position the antenna, it was decided that instead of positioning the antenna at different locations around the breast, the antenna would be fixed and the plastic cylinder would be lifted and rotated.
