One of dicore's primary mandates is to help improve the communities that it works in. It is for this reason that the Board of Directors (Mike Whittaker, Justin Malm, Andrew Low, Dylan Gothard and Jeff Sill) annouced that it has joined forces to help fight the battle against cancer.

"The opportunity to contribute to a cause like a new method of detection for cancer is just one that dicore could not pass up", comments Mike Whittaker.

dicore teamed up with the University of Victoria's Dr. Elise Fear and Dr. Maria Stuchly at the beginning of May earlier this year. dircore's primary role in this partnership was to develop a plan, antenna and device in order to bring the theory in Dr. Fear's thesis paper to life.

Since that time, dicore has been working hard to realize this goal.
