Power Consumption

The following are results of the current passing though the power supply while using the device. These results were recorded using a 6V power supply.

LCD on, chip in sleep mode
The device is usually in this mode. This is when the chip is inactive.

LCD on, button pushed and kept down 
The micro is programmed to poll to see if the button has been released. Once the button is released it is placed in sleep mode.
LCD on, button pushed and chip actively computing
This is the state when the chip is computing new data to place on the LCD. This happens very quickly, the chip is only in this state for very short bursts of time.
