Project TItle

Wireless Speech Recognition Entry System

Project Summary

The object of this project was to build a wireless speech recognition entry system. A central unit would house one speech recognition unit and would then be networked to a number of other units located at remote doors. Users pre-train the central voice recognition unit, then simply repeat certain phrases that they have trained to gain access to a particular door. The scope of the work was primarily integration of a purchased voice recognition unit with RF transceivers to enable wireless remote capability. The design and fabrication of the RF transceivers was also a integral part of the project. (more)
