NOTE DISPLAY AND LOGGING - James Tien

After the data has been analyzed, it must be presented in a away that is easily understood to the user. Due to performance considerations, the "bells and whistles" features have been kept out of the display portion of this project. Instead, we opted to used the built in features of the MATLAB plot function. With notes and the different decay rates that exist in their FFT peaks, along with overlapping of notes, duration detection could not easily be done. Thus, it was chosen to display each 1/16 of a note on the display figure.

Also, to prevent the loss of the musical information when MATLAB is closed, users can choose to save the figure in which the music was displayed. Users can also take advantage of the note logging function. This function will record the information in a plain text file which can then be viewed later with any text viewer.
