- [ ] Unconditionally approved.  The proposal is acceptable as long as the
      issues identified in the written comments (if any) are adequately
      addressed in the final software submission.
- [ ] Conditionally approved.  The proposal is not acceptable but could
      be made acceptable through revision if all of the issues raised in
      the comments are adequately addressed.
- [ ] No decision.  No decision could be made on the proposal due to
      the issues raised in the comments.  The student should meet with
      the instructor for further guidance.
- [ ] Rejected.  This proposal is not acceptable.  A different project
      should be chosen and a new proposal submitted.  The student should
      meet with the instructor prior to submitting any new proposal.

- Important note: The student is only permitted to begin work on the
  project if the decision on the proposal is "unconditionally approved".
