The 14th Annual International Symposium on High Performance Computing Systems and Applications (HPCS2000) will be held at the campus of the University of Victoria, from June 14 to June 16, 2000. The symposium covers all aspects of high performance computing, both applied as well as theoretical. It includes technical paper sessions, poster sessions, presentations by invited distinguished speakers, and vendor exhibits in an atmosphere that promotes conversation and collaboration. Paper submissions are expected to be original, exceptional work and will be fully refereed.

A best paper prize is to be awarded to the top student presentation.

Conference Venue:

The University of Victoria Campus, located on 160 verdant hectares in suburban Victoria, is easily accessible by car, bus, or bicycle, and is only a short stroll from the ocean.
Victoria is considered Canada's playground on the Pacific. Deep greens and emeralds of the Pacific Northwest combine with a multitude of flowers to give Victoria its special ambience.

Conference Proceedings:

Refereed oral and poster papers will be published in the book High Performance Computing Systems and Applications.
