ELEC 450 Commu. Theory and Systems: II

COURSE OBJECTIVES

To introduce various fundamental topics of digital communication systems, including source formatting/coding, baseband modem/detection, intersymbol interference/equalization, bandpass modem/detection, channel coding/capacity, and performance evaluation in presence of noise.
Prerequisites: ELEC 350 Communication Theory and Systems I.
