Mentoring Program

The mentoring program provides a personal contact (mentor) for each Engineering student to help deal with the many people of UVic (and beyond).

The people of UVic:

• students
• professors
• administrators
• coop coordinators
• teaching assistants/graduate students
• other staff
• student services
  • study skills center
  • counselling
• mentors

The mentor is a member of faculty or professional staff, an engineering associate (practicing or retired engineer), or a senior/ graduate student.

The mentor is a first point of contact, and may provide advice, or refer the student to one of the other groups of people at UVic.
