Biography

 

Xiaodai Dong received her B.Sc. degree from the Department of Information and Control Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University (China) in 1992, her M.Sc. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, National University of Singapore in 1995 and her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Queen’s University, Kingston, in 2000.  She was with Nortel Networks, Ottawa from 1999 to 2002, working on the base transceiver system design of the third-generation (3G) mobile communication systems.  She was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Alberta (2002-2004) and University of Victoria (2005-2007).  She is a Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Ultra-wideband Communications.
